This book is dedicated to the children who want something and their parents do not think it is a good idea. To just talk to your parents and ask kindly and tell them your side.

Today is October 11, 2016 it is just days away from little Sally’s 11th birthday. She is so excited to turn 11 and cannot wait to see what she gets for her birthday.

Sally’s mom and dad were asking Sally about what she would like for her birthday. Sally begins to tell them that all she wants is an I-phone 7.

I want an I-phone 7

Sally’s parents were in shock and mad about Sally saying she wants this and asked Sally if she was sure about having this for her birthday. Sally then said, "Of course that’s what all the other kids have in class."

Sally’s parents then began to ask Sally, "Why do you need an I-phone they are not necessary." Sally then began to tell her parents why an I-phone would benefit her.

Sally began telling her parents that "If I had an I-phone it would not only help her reading but writing also. For example mom, if I had an I-phone I would have the dictionary in my hands if I didn’t understand a word or didn’t know how to spell a word. I could just simply look it up right then and there, rather than not knowing what I am reading.”

"Sally also said to her parents that even when I am texting it will use spellcheck if I spelled something wrong which I will then notice and see what I spelled wrong. This helps with my writing because I will learn how to spell words I did not know how to spell."

Sally’s parents were amazed in how technology has a positive effect on reading and writing and agreed to getting Sally an I-phone 7 for her 11th birthday. Sally was thrilled and is gaining so much knowledge already from having the I-phone for one week.

I am learning so much!!
"Sally thanked her parents and had a wonderful birthday." She knows that this will impact her writing and reading.
