Stable Food Supply
Ancient Egypt stable food supply is irrigation
because they needed to use it to water their
plants they ate. They also used the Nile's
black fertile soil to plant their plants after
the flood. The Nile also helped them fish
because of the high water so they could
catch them with their hands and put them in
the basket. Wheat was also a part of their
stable food supply because they ate it daily.

Government
Ancient Egyptians had to pay taxes, they paid
them to their government. The Vizier is the
most powerful Government official. Then there
is the general which is the top of the military
which is important because they lead the
soldiers to protect the Government (people).
There is also the Treasurer who collects the
money for the Government. A Pharaoh is
important because they pretty much are the
Government, they run the people.

Religion
Priests were very important because religion
ruled their daily lives. Men and women both
can be priests so they are equal in religion
wise. Priests have to avoid certain food and
they had to be very clean, so they can worship
their God properly. Priests were very powerful
because religion was important to so many
people.

Writing
Scrib school was very important because if you
knew how to write you could work in the
Government. When you can write you can
basically record things that need to be
recorded. Boys ages 5-17 can be in scrib
school and there ONLY can be boys, no girls
allowed. If you didn't get something correct in
scrib school you would get a very harsh
beating. They used sharp reed, papyrus, stone,
and black or red ink to write with.

Art
If you were an artist you were highly skilled
and you could not sign your art work. You
could be a carpenter, jeweler, leather worker,
metal worker, painter, potter or weaver. You
would have to work for ten days straight then
you would get one resting day the person you
worked for would determined how and when
you ate. Most skilled artist is a pyramid or
stone carver because the Pharaoh have to have
their pyramid to be able to get into the after
life.
