Once upon a time, there was a little puppy named Charlie.

Charlie lives in a shelter with his friends.

He loves to play and run around.

Every day when a new family came, Charlie will get excited to see them.

However, the families whispered to one another, “Look at his front feet, they are not straight.”

Charlie looked at his body and felt conscious about his feet.

Charlie’s feet were different from the others. His front feet were bent a little bit compared to the other puppies.  

Feeling sad, Charlie went to his bed and laid down as he saw his siblings and friends leave the shelter with a new family.

Charlie had lost hope in finding a family who would love him the way he is.

Then one day, when Charlie was sleeping, he heard the door of the shelter open.

A girl with brown hair came into the store and went straight to Charlie.

Charlie approached her and you could tell he liked her by the way he wagged his tail.

The girl’s parents saw the immediate connection between them.
