Conforming is done to meet standards or rules of society.

Hospice is a home to give care and comfort to really sick people (usually for dying people).

Identity is who a person is and the characteristics or things that make them different from others.

The Juvenile Justice System is the system that decides how to deal with people younger than 18 that break the law.

Kinship is a relationship between people by being in same family.
Examples: brother, mom, cousin, wife

Laws are rules made by governments to control people's actions.

Material culture is the physical objects and places that bring people together or represent someone.

Norms are rules or standards for behavior in different groups.

Listening to teachers in school is a social norm

An out-group is a social group of people outside of a person's own group, that the person may compete with or dislike.

A primary group is a group of people with very close relationships.
Primary groups are usually our friends and family!
