I learned as the US becomes more diverse with multicultural and multilingual students; it is important for teachers to understand them and make them feel comfortable. A couple ways to help the students feel comfortable is to pronounce their names correctly, learn words in their language, display some of their work, and most importantly smile!

Because the students come from different cultures and spoke different languages; there is different things to consider while teaching them.They need a daily Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening exercise to assure they are working on the English language development.  Understanding  English words can be difficult as there are multiple meanings to some words. Teachers should review vocabulary of the content often to check they the students are aware that words can mean different things in different situation. Throughout the lessons there should be many opportunities for the students to use English, they should have English books and bilingual books because both help recognize or learn to recognize English words.

Multicultural Education is designed for the cultures of several different races to come together in an educational system. Benefits that can possible happen are reduction of fear, ignorance, and personal detachment. On the other hand keeping the students with different culture separated could increase the race divide in the US.
