
ADD/ADHD
ADD/ADHD is one of the most common among children mental disorders among children. The main symptoms of ADHD are impulsivity, hyperactivity, inattention, and distractibility. ADD and ADHD are two subtypes of ADHD, with a third subtype of ADD and ADHD. The criteria for diagnosis changes with their age. ADHD is a chronic condition. Some children with the disorder can be fine one day and frenzied the next.
Three to five percent of children meet the requirements for diagnosis. Boys are typically much more likely to have ADHD. Once puberty is reached the ratio becomes much closer. Girls tend to have the inattentive and distractive subgroup, while boys tend to fit into the hyperactivity subgroup. Children tend to react well to treatment (not necessarily) medication.
