is for Amplify
The Wellsprings of Digital Stories, stated, "Technology has the capacity to AMPLIFY the writer’s voice in a well written story" on page 47. This resonated with me because the tech should not outshine the student's work, it should only enhance it.

is for Build
Students come with ideas and knowledge. Solid curriculums BUILD on what a student knows to deepen their knowledge of any task. In the article, Common Core in Action: Using Digital Storytelling Tools in the ELA classroom, Monica Burns writes, "As students move from one grade level to another, the complexity of these tasks will change greatly." As a teacher, our job is to help build these skills and create new and engaging ways for them to share their learning with a wider audience.
