A young Virginian man named George Washington was arguing with the French over land. George Washington demanded the French to leave but they said no.

They didn't know how to solve this in a peaceful way, so the only thing that would solve this is a war. It was the French and the Indians vs an English militia.

The war started out in the French & Indians favor they were destroying. The English changed it up by hiring and new chief and they were using different tactics.

At the end of the war the English had won! They won because of there smart tactics. For example they had got blankets from a person who had smallpox, and traded with their enemies. This killed about 70% of their tribe. This war was very expensive and it costed them a lot of money, mostly because it was 7 years.

Since the war had costed a lot of money they had made taxes.
