Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a teacher?

Well, I happen to know exactly what it takes to be a teacher. I know you're probably thinking, "What does she know; she's eight". But I'm in the 3rd grade this year and I have learned a thing or two from my teachers.

Miss. Alisson is my teacher this year and she is the best! She does a lot of things my other teachers did.

To be a teacher you have to wake up early. Teachers are always at school really early. Even before any of their students are there! Can you believe that?!

You have to always have a big smile on your face and say, "Good morning!" everyday!

You wear nice clothes with polka dots, stripes, a tie or cool patterns.

Teachers have treasure boxes filled with prizes and they always have stickers for you! Miss. Alisson has cool erasers too!

To be a teacher you have to go to college and earn a diploma, like Miss. Alisson did!

Teachers know EVERYTHING and they need to know these things in order to educate us.

Teachers teach us things about math. Like how to add and subtract or how to make graphs.
