
The American Revolution started April 19, 1775. It started because the American Colonies had become upset with the British Government and how they were being treated.
The Boston Tea Party led to the American Revolution also.
The Boston Tea Party was at the Boston Harbor. A group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians boarded 3 British Tea ships and dumped 342 chests of tea into the Harbor.
The American Colonies wanted to escape the rule of the King. They wanted to rebel against the British because of their harsh taxes

General George Washington was ordered by Congress to take command the continental army to besiege the British in Boston. Washington proved to be a capable and resilient leader of the American military forces during the war.



Benedict Arnold was an early American hero of the Revolutionary War. Later he was known as one of the most famous traitors in U.S. History after he switched sides and fought for the British.



Charles Cornwallis led very successful campaigns during the American Revolution, securing British victories at New York, Brandy wine, and Camden. The American victory and Cornwallis' surrender of his troops to George Washington was the final major conflict of the American Revolution.
The French Revolution started July 14, 1789. It all started because of Economic hardships, an ineffective ruler, and political conflicts.
