Who is he and what did he do?
Vladimir Lenin was a Russian left wing politician. He ended Russian involvement in World War One and after that he made drastic changes to Russia including supplying the Russian people with food, water and land. Though his climb to power involved many fights, he was the main rally-er that overthrew Nicholas the Second.

Which conflict did he resolve
and how did he do it?
He resolved the Russian war with Germany in World War One by having a meeting and negotiating a fair agreement for peace. By signing the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk on the 3 of March 1918.

What was the Treaty and what happened?
Russia signed a treaty with Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria ending its participation in World War One. By the terms of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Russia recognised the independence of Ukraine, Georgia, Finland and had to give up Poland and the Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to Germany and Austria-Hungary and ceded Kars, Ardahan and Batum to Turkey.

Russia before Lenin
Before Lenin took power, Russia was in crisis. There were people starving and dying due to disease. And since Russia was at war, the soldiers had to be fed enough to fight. As a result, the civilians had to fight or scavenge for food.
