This story is dedicated to my brother, Kiet Nguyen. He inspired me to be the person I am today.

My brother, Kiet Nguyen, was born on October 11, 1994. He lived most of his life in Carrollton, Texas with his mother and three younger sisters. He attended Creekview high school and was a senior who played on the varsity football team.
Kiet was a humorous, outgoing, and very loving guy. He loved football, being with his friends, going to school, and I know he adored his family more than anything. My brother was planning to graduate high school and go to college to play football. He was also very smart, so his academics were able to get him to a quality school.
Kiet didn't have the perfect life, he had his obstacles and moments of bad luck, but throughout everything that had happened to him, he managed to keep a smile on his face, stayed positive, and kept moving on.
I can honestly tell you that my brother was so giving and selfless. He cared about his friends more than himself and he would be there for anyone in need. Kiet loved everyone he met and got to share his life with. He knew sometimes life wasn't all about him, he always wanted to do more for other people. He was the guy that inspired people to be a better version of themselves.
