There was once a kitten...Her name was Luna and she was a curious kitten and had many questions.

One day Luna was playing in the woods with her friend the dog, Rufus. asked, "Rufus, why are you different than me? You bark and I meow. You love to play fetch and go on walks. I love to scratch my post and stretch."

Rufus was a wise dog and he said, "We are not as different as you think. You are a cat, I am a dog but we are still equals no matter the name."

"I may be older, you may be younger, I am tall and you are small. I am cream and you are gray. No matter the physical differences we are still the same. We are good friends no matter what anyone may say," Rufus continued.

Now Luna was satisfied with Rufus' answer and soon it was night and their owners came to take them home. Luna learned a valuable lesson that day. Everyone is special in their very own way. "I'm glad we are friends," Luna finally replied. They said goodnight and went on their way.
