For Environmental Science

A Biosphere is the parts of the land, sea, and atmosphere in which organisms are able to leave.
The Biosphere is made up of four components, an organism, populations, communities, and ecosystems.
Organism
An organism is a living thing that can carry out life processes independently.
Every organism is a member of a species.
Species are groups of organisms that are closely related and can mate to produce fertile offspring.

Populations
Populations are groups of organisms of the same species that live in a specific geographical are and interbreed.
ex. all the alligators in a swamp create a populations of alligators.

Communities
Communities are groups of various species that live in the same habitat and interact with each other.
Every populations is apart of a community.
The type of land determines which kind of community can live there.

Ecosystem
Ecosystems are communities of organisms and their abiotic environment.
ex. pine forest, swamp, lake, etc.
Ecosystems can vary because of many reasons like birds migrating from state to state and soil from a mountain to a lake.

How Our Biosphere was Made
The world was made possible by God. God created our biosphere and all the organisms, populations, communities, and ecosystems in it. He started with the earth and day by day made abiotic factors like temperature, then moved those into ecosystems with populations of birds, squirrels, and deer and created communities on top of communities. God shaped the world perfectly and created what we now live on.
