Alice was so excited to spend Christmas in Colorado! She loved the cold and made sure to pack lots of jackets and hats.

She flew in an airplane for 4 hours, staring out the window at the clouds.

She soon started to see snow beneath the plane, and mountains in the distance!

Alice was so happy to be home with her mom, dad, brother, cat and dog, sitting by the cozy fire.

"Alice, get a good night's sleep because tomorrow we are driving up to Copper Mountain to ski!", said Alice's dad.

"Yes! I'm so excited," shouted Alice.

The family set off on their long journey to Copper Mountain Ski Resort, listening to Christmas music in the car.

Oh no! Traffic toward the mountain was so backed up, Alice worried they wouldn't make it to the ski resort on time.

The snow was falling harder and harder. Alice could hardly see anything outside her window!
