Colorado has some of the most 

amazing land features in the 

United States of America. 

This is map of Colorado, it shows how different 

areas of the state look. The gray area is the 

famous Rocky Mountains. The terrain changes 

drastically on different sides of the mountain. 

The redish orange to the west is desert-like, 

while the green area to the east is great 

plains.

One of the main attractions of Colorado is 

snow skiing and snow boarding. There are 

many "Ski Resorts" featuring downhill skiing, 

cross country, and doing tricks on jumps. half 

pipes, and grinds.

If you've seen The Santa Clause movie series, 

or heard Buzz Lightyear, those are both acted 

by Tim Allen. Tim was born in Denver, 

Colorado in 1953.
