Aerobic exercise is exercise that is continuous for 30 minutes or more. For instance, jogging or riding a bike.

Try to eat an assortment of foods during mealtimes. A healthy meal consists of whole grains, lean proteins, vegetables and fruits.




is for Choice

Every day we have the power of choice. To eat healthy or to eat poorly. To exercise or not to exercise. Some days the choice is not ours, but most days we have the choice to live healthy.
is for Dentists

Make sure to get your teeth/gum inspected by a Dentist at least once or twice a year. Toothaches are one of the worst pains a person can experience.


is for Eyes.

Please take care of your eyes, because like everything else, they will not last forever. When outside for long periods of time in the sun, wear sunglasses. Also, take a break every 20 minutes to so when reading or doing computer work to rest your eyes.

is for Five Kilometer Races

Often abbreviated as 5k's. They are races which go for 3.125 miles, and they are a great way to stay in shape. This distance is a popular distance ran in high school and college as well public racing.

is for Golf

Golf is a great sport, because it is low impact and it is of course a non-contact/collision sport. Many golf courses can go up to 5 miles long, so players if they choose to walk will get a fantastic workout.

is for Help.

Help can be a difficult thing to ask for, but it can save people heartache when trying to reach a goal. Help can be given from friends, online videos, books and strangers. There will always be people out there to help you reach your goals.

is for Illness

Illnesses affect us all in one way or another. The best step is prevention, but sometimes Doctors will be needed. Although, some illnesses can be severely damaging the best way to combat them is to stay positive and hopeful.


is for Jumping Jacks

Jumping jacks are an exercise many people learn at a young age. It's a terrific exercise, because it can be done without any equipment works out the whole body and is beginner friendly.
is for Kyphosis

Kyphosis is a an issue with the back (spine) that can have a variety of causes. One cause is having poor posture, so always remember to stand tall and straight. The pain of Kyphosis can be prevented.
is for Lift

Lifting weights is an activity that millions of people participate in, because of the health benefits and the change in aesthetics. This activity is linked to increased physical and psychological health.

is for Mood

Mental disorders are a big problem around the world, and America is no exception. If your mood is constantly low, then you may need some help. A doctor, nurse or psychologist is a safe place to start for help.

is for Nuts

Nuts are often considered a "brain food", because of the healthy fats in them. Although, high in calories nuts are a very nutritious snack.

is for Olympics

The Olympics serve as an inspiration for billions of people worldwide. This is the highest form of international competition and athletes work years and years just to compete for even a few minutes and hours at these games held every 4 years.

Like many things in life, certain movements or exercises will be hard to do at first, but if you are consistent, chances are it will get easier and easier.
