Cell Parts Of An UFO

Cell Membrane: Regulates what can enter or leave the cell.

Nucleus: Control center of the cell.

Mitochondria: Makes energy in the form of ATP for the cell.

Golgi Body: Processes proteins for shipment out of the cell.

Cytoplasm: Surrounds and bathes all of the organelles within the cell.

Ribosome: Use the instructions in DNA to assemble (or make) proteins.

Endoplasmic Reticulum: a network of membranous tubules within the cytoplasm of a eukaryotic cell, continuous with the nuclear membrane.

Lysosome: Digests wastes, worn out cell parts, and foreign invaders.

On my UFO the doors are a lot like the cell membrane because my doors keep out intruders like the cell membrane regulates what goes in and out of the cell.

The control panel in my UFO is a lot like the nucleus of a plant cell. A control panel controls all the actions of the UFO like the nucleus controls the actions of the cell.

The UFO's motor is like the mitochondria, the motor creates energy to power the UFO like the mitochondria powers the cell.

The Golgi body is like the packager because they both process things to be shipped.
