On a street corner in New York city. There was a library.

In this library there were three books that were the best of friends.
There was Josephine, a book about princesses and unicorns.

There was Geoffrey, a book about insects.

And lastly, there was Frederick, a boring dictionary .

Josephine and Geoffrey were always happy because kids liked to check them out and they were never lonely.
But Frederick was always sad because no one had ever checked him out.

Hey! Over here! Pick me! Pleeease!!!
Although he tried his hardest to get the kids' attention, he never could and his friends always got picked in favor of him .
One day, a boy that Frederick had never seen before came into the library.
Frederick could hear the boy ask the librarian where he could find a dictionary.

Excuse me!
So he tried his best to look like the best dictionary in the whole entire library.

As the boy walked over Frederick put on a big smile to attract his attention.
