One day, John decided to protect his country from Germany in World War 1. He signed up for the army and got sent to war on the Eastern Front.

So John, now a Private, got on the train to France's eastern front to live a life in the trenches with the allies.

On his way to the Trench he was assigned, he realized that the allies consisted of Great Britain, France, and Russia, and the central powers consisted of Austria-Hungary and Germany

Unfortunately for Private John, life in the trenches was harder than he thought.

The propaganda posters made it seem like the war would be over in a matter of weeks, although it lasted for years

Every day was a bad day for Private John. Every day he killed someone in no mans land. He felt bad.
