Early life

Abraham Lincoln was on February 12,1809. He was raised in a log cabin. Abe's family was extremely poor. win he was a boy he love the outdoors. Abe helped his father on the farm and chop firewood. His mom died win his was nine.

They moved to Indiana. He would walk for miles just to borrow and return books. In 1830 the Lincolns moved again to Illinois.

Education

Abe was self-educated = He read books to educate himself. He started school at a log schoolhouse when he was six. He only attended about 18 months of school.

Jobs

Abe was the 16th president of the United States of America. He served as president 1801-1865.Abe also a wood cutter, shopkeeper, postmaster, general store owner, soldier, and lawyer.

Family

Abe married Mary Todd on November 4, 1842. They had 4 children only Robert survived to adulthood.
