Tatiana is a 8 year old girl who 

loves basketball. She hopes one day 

that she will become a athlete.

One day, Tatiana asked two boys if 

she can play basketball.

The boys said that she can't play 

because she is a girl, which left 

Tatiana sad.

To prove the boys wrong, Tatiana 

decide to try out for basketball.

Tatiana then asked a coach, Mr. 

Jones, if she can try out for his 

basketball team, the Tigers.   The 

coach kindly said yes and Tatiana 

was happy.

The next day, Tatiana practiced 

with Mr.Jones and the Tigers. She 

kept practicing and practicing and 

practicing until...

...she made the cut and joined the 

Tigers.   Tatiana was very excited 

and was ready to play ball.

Two days later, before Tatiana's 

first game, she saw the two boys 

that made fun of her.   The boys now 

play for the Cardinals, the team the 

Tigers are facing.

Before Tatiana said anything, the 

game was about to start and she 

was ready.
