Matilde's book is about soccer. She dreams about performing a Chilena or overhead volley in the FIFA World Cup. Matilde needs to train a lot to reach her dreams. So, she decided to hire the best soccer coach in the world. She will employ Leonel Messi. 

Can you believe it?

Messi is the best soccer player in the world. One day, I am going to be part of his team. 

Matilde never forgets that her mother looks at her as a champion. Her mother always said:

"One day Matilde is going to play with the Barcelona Football Championship Subdivision."  

By that time, Matilde's brothers laughed at their mother's words. However, now, they are very proud of Matilde's achievements.

Matilde was determined to improve her soccer's skills. She knew that to hire Messi, she needed money to pay for his lessons. Messi's classes were expensive.

Matilde started mowing the lawn in her neighbor's gardens. 

She charged 10 dollars per hour. That summer, Matilde worked very hard and she made four hundred dollars. 

Unfortunately, that money was not enough to pay for Messi's classes.

Since her money was not enough to pay for training, Matilde decided to train herself using YouTube videos. She bought a computer and internet services.

Matilde also downloaded the YouTube app to her computer. She plays many videos with the best bicycle kicks.

Matilde you broke another plate!

Matilde trained herself with YouTube videos. She practiced the kicks, over and over until she learned them. Matilde's favorite place to practice the kicks was the Thomas County Middle School's Stadium. 

The bicycle kick is tough to perform, and sometimes Matilde got frustrated, but she kept practicing.
