Yes, that could be considered an counteroffer. a counteroffer is when an offeree changes the terms and sends it back to the offeror.



Is there a way to keep a offer open longer then its original date?
There is 2 ways to keep an offer open, options and firm offers. an option is when the offeree gives the offeror something of value in return to keep the offer open, firm offers act just like options but is written.



What does " capacity to contract " mean ?
Capacity to contract means the legal ability to enter a contract and understand the consequences.
