One day in North Carolina, me and my family were getting in the van to  go to Cherokee. When we leave, my mom turns on the music and it is very loud.  It is hot and sunny outside. It smells like sweat and feet. I put in my ear buds in and listened to my own music.  I started to get hungry and thirsty, so I asked if we could stop.

We were halfway there when we stopped for gas and something to eat and drink. Then when we came out of the gas station we left without the gas.   We drove for one hour and stopped in the middle of the road. We had run out of gas, the thing that scared me most. I was scared so what I did was I got on my phone.

Suddenly a car drove up and stopped.  A man came to the car and asked “Why are you stopped?” my mom told him everything.  He just so happen to have extra buckets of gas in is truck. He happily gave us a bucket.  We were off to Cherokee once more.

We arrived at 3:00 and rented a hotel room.  Cherokee had everything! Drums, music, colors, and lights.  We all had a lode of fun. We went to bed late that night. But, we rose early to the sound of drum beating as loud as a man yelling, wind whistling and dancers dancing the day away.
