scientists, and anybody trying to make a scientific difference for the
better. This is because without scientists, we would still be living like
we were in the middle ages, with no idea what to do when nature
comes around to kick you down for a while. Scientists are always
finding cures for diseases that (thanks to them) are now in the past
and hopefully any future diseases as well. The periodic table is a really
beautiful thing as well. Nothing would be scientifically explained
thoroughly without it. From how the human race really started to how
Pizza is now considered a vegetable, I love science and i am glad
that there are some things that have not been proven to be fake in
this world because of it.

Hello, I am going to tell you about an Element
called Argon! The Element Argon is very
interesting to say the least. This element was
actually the first noble gas to ever be
discovered! Argon is a gas that has no color
and also no odor. This book will explain to you
all about the element Argon along with what it
is used for and all of the technical scientific
data as well. To start things off very generally,
Argon is a nonmetal and a noble gas!

Argon was discovered in 1894 by Sir William
Ramsey who was born on October 2, 1852.
However, the origins of the existence of Argon
can be dated back to 1785 originally hinted
about by Sir Henry Cavendish. He wanted to
know more about what was in the air besides
oxygen. He tested with Nitrogen and Oxygen
and added oxygen until the nitrogen had
reacted. After that scientific experiment he
found a small bubble of gas left which was Argon
and there was only 0.7% of the (at the time)
nameless substance.

This element (Argon) was discovered and
labeled in 1894 by Sir William Ramsay. This
elements Atomic Number is 18. The Atomic
mass is 39.948. The elements Atomic Symbol
is Ar and it is in group 18 on the periodic table
which is known as the noble gas group and is
labeled the P-Block group. Argon is from the
Greek word Argon and it means Inactive.
Argon was named this because it has almost
no chemical reactions. Argon also has 22
Neutrons and 18 protons/electrons.

Argon has a melting point of 189.35 degrees
Celsius and a boiling point of 185.85 degrees
celsius. Argon also has a density of .001784
G/CM cubed. Argon costs 0.50$ per 100 grams.
It is also the third most common gas throughout
the earth's atmosphere. Argon's symbol was
only "A" up until 1957 when it became "Ar"
which it still is today. Argon is a gas at room
temperature even though it does not form any
stable compounds at it. Argon is also a
generally unreactive substance. This is shown
on the periodic table by how far left it is relative
to the reactive elements.
