Max was a happy 11 year old boy who was in 5th grade.

One day Max's teacher sent home a note to his parents saying that Max had been becoming very moody and antisocial which was very unusual of him.

During recess Max would always like to play with his friends.

During recess Max's friends told the teacher he began to sit out of the games they were playing and just didn't want to be bothered.

Max's mother was very surprised by this concern of his teacher and friends, so she kept an eye on him and she began to notice it at home as well.

Max's mom was very concerned about Max, so she took him to the doctor.

The doctor did some tests and diagnosed Max with Bipolar disorder.

Max was still able to carry on with his normal life. His parents just had to keep an eye on him, so if he did have an episode he would be controlled.
