Once upon a time in a town not so far away lived a little hen named Miss Truly Clucks. She was a very bossy hen that was overly concerned with neatness and cleanliness. She was happy in her neat apartment with her clean things. She did not have any family except her cousin whom lived in the country outside of her town.

Miss Truly Clucks had a best friend though, his name was Oliver McKitty . They would walk around together all day long! But one day Oliver gave Truly some very sad news. He was moving to another town! Truly was so disappointed with this news. Who would keep her company now?

"I will miss you, Oliver!"

Truly decided that she would throw a party for Oliver and their friends. She even invited her country cousin Lucy McDonald. Everyone had a phenomenal time except Truly, all she could think about was losing Oliver.

After the party Lucy stayed to help Truly clean up and cheer up. All Truly could think about was missing her best friend. All Lucy could think about was all the noise in the city! It was so loud here!

"Nothing is the same without Oliver here."

"I Know you're sad. Maybe you just need a vacation from this noisy, crowded town."

Truly was still so sad, even the next day. Lucy told Truly that she needed a vacation away from the bustling city.

Truly agreed to go with Lucy to the country. After all, she couldn't miss Oliver any more than she already did. So off they went to the country.

Lucy was so happy to be out of the noisy, crowded, stinky town. It was not long before they arrived at Lucy's chicken coop.
