The perfect game/no-hitter

A perfect game is where a pitcher does not allow any base runners during all the 9 innings.A no-hitter is where a hit isn´t allowed the whole game.These are rare feats as well as there has only been 23 perfect games and 266 no hitters.To put this in perspective,345,950 games have been played in MLB history and only 291 of those 345,950 games have been a no hitter/perfect game.

The most recent perfect game was in 2012 by Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners.

There has only been 39 WS game 7's.A game seven is a win big or go home game. This happens when both teams have the series tied 3-3 and who ever wins has a world championship.2011 was probably the most insane game 6.Game 6 the Cardinals were down by 2 runs with runners at second and third and the Rangers were one strike away from a championship,but David Freese hit a game tying triple witch sent the game into extra innings where David hit a walk-off home run to force a game 7. The Rangers ended up losing game 7 and choking a world series. :(

This era in baseball was probably the most exciting. Basically everyone was using PED's like Barry Bonds,and Mark Mcgwire. This made people want to watch baseball for once,because home runs and records were everywhere.Later, everyone found out they were using PED's which were illegal and not allowed in the MLB. The only thing this did was made baseball more popular.
