I dedicate this book to my little brother.

What is the Third Amendment?
The Third Amendment states, "No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."
America's founding fathers made this amendment because of the Quartering Act which let soldiers live in any house.
What Does This Mean?
"No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house" means that any soldier cannot be quartered.
Quartered means to be allowed to live anyone's house.
