Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Isabelle. Isabelle lived a happy life with her loving family.

Even as a child, she always looked up at the stars and dreamt of all the great things she wanted to do.

When she learned to read, her favourite books were all about heroes and heroines.

She hoped to be like them one day.

However, things were about to change.

One day, Isabelle found out that her father had to leave to join the army.

Soon, her mother became very sick.

When her mother could not take care of her anymore, Isabelle's father came back to make sure she had a safe place to stay.

When it was time for him to leave again, Isabelle's only option was a boarding school.

Although it was hard at first, boarding school was not as bad as she thought it would be. She made lots of new friends and learned new things.

Some days she did not want to talk to anyone. She wanted to go back to her family.
