A long time ago in Tonga there was a chief called Sinilau. He heard of a beautiful woman called Hina who lived on a far away island called Samoa. He decided to find her.

When he got to Samoa, he saw Hina and they fell in love. Sinilau brought Hina back to Tonga with him. The Samoans weren't happy about this so they chased them. Sinilau hid Hina in a cave on the east side of Tonga, He asked a giant rat to guard her in case the Samoans found Hina. Then he left.
