There once was a spork named Sporky.
He was half spoon, half fork.

Sporky had no friends because he was a mix of a spoon and a fork. Whenever
he came out of the dishwasher, he was forced to lay alone in the drawer.

“But I am just like you,” he explained to the forks. “I can pick up food
on my sharp end.”
“No, you are just a lousy spoon! Get away from us!”

When that failed, he turned to the spoons. “I am just like you,” he told them. “I can
scoop up food with ease.”
“No, you are just like the forks! You boast about your fancy top!
Get away from us!” they said.

Now very sad, he went to lay in his lonely corner of the drawer.
He thought to himself, “Nobody likes me, no one will ever pick
me to eat with because I have no use!”

But one day, Jimmy did not know whether to use a fork or a spoon for his chicken noodle soup.
If he used a fork for his soup the watery part of the soup would fall between the forks spikes.
But if he used a spoon he would not be able to pick up the noodles and the chicken in the soup.

Suddenly he saw Sporky.

It was perfect. He could pick up the watery part of the soup and
he could pick up the noodles. So he grabbed sporky and started
to eat his chicken noodle soup.
