This book is to teach you kids about the importance of the Eucharist. Informing kids of it's beginnings, telling the story of Jesus' Last supper and how it was implemented into the Jewish and Catholic faith. I aim to spread some light and ease kids into the learning about this sacrament.

So Miss, what is the eucharist and why do we need to do our confirmation?

Well it all started with Jesus

When Jesus walked the earth he brought his compassion and faith wherever he travelled. Spreading the word through his disciples, the word and his actions.

Jesus had a dinner knowing this was the last time with his disciples, he called this dinner 'The last Supper'. He broke the bread saying it was his body and rose his cup saying it was his blood.

The bread Jesus broke that night is where the Eucharist or Holy communion comes from. That night is why we find that this ritual is still so importantly celebrated in mass, he wanted us to continue the Eucharist in memory of him to cleanse our sins.
