Chapter 1: What is an Obstetrician?
An obstetrician is a person who helps the mom before, during, and after labor. They can also deliver babies. They tell the mom how her eating is going and how the baby's eating is going. They are trained to make sure nothing is wrong with the mother and baby through the pregnancy. They nurse the baby after he or she is born.
They also help the mother recover. They will continue helping the mother and baby until they are able to take care of themselves. That doesn't mean they won't check on them. They are kind of like a helping hand. They can be extremely helpful.
Chapter 2: What does it take to become an Obstetrician?
It takes a bachelor's degree. The students must attend a medical school for four years to earn an M.D. During the first two years of medical school. Students usually take lecture courses in anatomy, laboratory science, and general health care procedures. This can take many many years. It takes a lot to become one.
If you choose to become one you probably should start off young. Like as soon as they allow you. If you start off young you could be further in to your career. This is just a good advice for you. Now you know it takes a lot of effort and good grades.
Chapter 3: What is an obstetrician Education and Salary?
The average amount in a year an Obstetrician makes is at least $216,760. An Obstetrician has to have a bachelor's degree, taking courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and math, and then complete four years of medical school. All this must be completed before becoming an Obstetrician. It seems like to much to handle but this can be worth it. You get the joy of being helpful.
You get to work with cute babies. You get paid a decent amount of money. You help people. you even get to comfort the babies. It is a really good job. You will have to deliver the baby but you still get to take care of it.
You don't get to take the baby home but you still help the mom out. You don't just take care of the baby you have to take care of the mother too. You are kind of like their family member. You even have to treat them like they are your family. It makes them feel safe and protected.
Chapter 4: What tools Do Obstetricians use? What equipment do they use?
Obstetricians use a speculate which is a plastic or metal tool inserted into the ovaries. And they also use Laminar Sticks. They use Oscilloscope. And even Sponge Forceps. All these words are just different types of tools they use.
