Down in the deep dark sea, swam a mighty and oh so scary shark swimming along the ocean floor.

The big scary shark saw a boy swimming at the top and wanted to ask him for help. His brother was stuck in a pile of trash in the ocean, and could not get out. He was scared and needed help, so he approached Maddox fearful and with all his might.

As Maddox saw the scary shark approaching, he began to swim away as fast as he could. Suddenly, he heard a voice shouting, "Help me, help me! My brother is stuck in a pile of trash and I need to help him get out."

As soon as Maddox realized that the scary shark needed help, he knew that even though he was scared of the shark, he had to help. He knew that if his brother was in danger, he would want someone to do the same for him.

"Look up there, do you see my brother, Philip? He is stuck in this huge pile of plastic water bottles," said the scary shark. Maddox knew he had to do something about this.

After thirty long minutes of cutting through the plastic, Maddox and the scary shark safely rescued Philip. "I am forever grateful for your kind heart, helping to save my life from the trash," Philip said.

"I did not know that there was this much trash in the ocean," exclaimed Maddox. The scary shark and Philip proceeded to tell him how many of their friends have been affected by the piles of trash in the ocean.

"Now through our adventures and sudden friendship, I have a better understanding on what it is really like under the ocean blue," said Maddox. "I want to make a difference!"
