Welcome
to the
Holy
Roman Empire

But the people and princes of the Empire had the right to choose because of the Peace of Augsburg. The Peace of Augsburg allowed the princes and noblemen to choose what rules and religion they wanted their people to follow. But Evil King Ferinand said 'No!'

NO!

In the Empire of Holy Rome, there was a region called Bohemia. The Protestant people of Bohemia did not like the Evil King for making them follow the rules and religions he made and that they weren't allowed to choose for themselves. Evil King Ferdindand did not like the Bohemian Protestants at all because they believed in God differently than the rest of the Empire.

The Bohemian Protestants where able to practice their own religion and live freely, thanks to the 'Letter of Majesty'. So Evil King Ferdinand decided that he was going to take it away.
"Ha Ha! I have all the power now!" He stated to the people of Bohemia.
"Please! Let us have freedom!" The people cried. But he did not listen.

Ha Ha! I have all the power now!
Please! Let us have freedom!

Letter of Majesty

The Bohemians did not like this. They where so mad that they threw 2 henchmen of the Evil King out a window in the city of Prauge. This Defenstration of Prauge made the Evil King Ferdinand even angrier.

Evil King Ferdinand and his army battled the Bohemians on the White Mountain. Though they fought valiantly, the Bohemian Protestants where defeated for there where not enough men to fight.
