The story of Cupid and Psyche

Once upon a time there was a Princess named Psyche. She was the Youngest of three daughters and the most beautiful of them all. So beautiful that she could not get a husband and so beautiful that the Goddess Venus was envious of her.


Psyche was so beautiful she intimidated every man, so her father sent her to marry an evil Serpent and she was not happy.

Psyche was crying until an angel named Cupid came and took her to his palace, not knowing what he looked like.




Cupid brings Psyche to his castle and she still couldn't see him but they still end up falling in love.



Psyche tries to look at cupid with a lit candle but burns him and Cupid leaves.



Psyche goes out and tries to look for Cupid but instead of finding him she found Cupid's mom and she gives Psyche 3 task to find Cupid.


Psyche's first task was to sort different colored seeds before the sun came up. She had trouble but the ants came and helped her.









The second task was to get the cotton from a golden sheep since she had trouble a water god showed her an easy way and found the cotton in the bush.
