Today is the day of which I will finally be setting off to my new life in Meiricea from Dublin, Ireland. I will be leaving my family, but as soon as possible I will be sending money to them so they can start fresh in this new land with me. I just got boarded and I am on the lowest deck of the boat. It is disgusting down here but I am not going to let anything stop me from making it to my new home.

I had to leave Ireland because of the potato famine and now, one of my main goals is to earn some money for the rest of my family to come over. I should be able to get an okay job due to me being only 28 but I don't know if I will have that much experience. At least it is the land of opportunity.
