

This is Shawn and he doesn't know why he parents can't get a job. He's very confused and hungry.
During the 1930's Shawn didn't know what to do. His parents said that they were trying really hard to get a job. They wanted to give Shawn what he deserved. He deserves happiness, but it was hard because there were no jobs after the stock market crashed in October 1929.

Shawn was really hungry and his parents. My family and I decided to go to the soup kitchen. A soup kitchen is a meal center, or food kitchen is a place where food is offered to the hungry. We would go there to get some food if we are hungry.

I'm going to explain what a Bonus Army is.
The Bonus Army was a group of 43,000 demonstrators – made up of 17,000 U.S. They wanted 7,000 U.S. World War I veterans, together with their families.

There is one other thing I have to describe which is Riding the Rails.
Riding the rail was a punishment most prevalent in the United States in the 18th and 19th centuries in which an offender was made to straddle a fence rail held on the shoulders of two or more bearers.

Industrial Recovery Act of 1933 (NIRA) The NIRA was a US labor law and consumer law passed by the US Congress to authorize the President to regulate industry for fair wages and prices that would stimulate economic recovery.
Social Security Administration (SSA) The SSA was a U.S. government agency that administers social programs covering disability, retirement, and survivors' benefits. It was created in 1935 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Where and when the Dust Bowl take place? It happened in the early 1930s. The dust bowl took place in Kansas.
What caused the Dust Bowl and the effects? The Dust Bowl was caused by several economic and agricultural factors, including federal land policies, changes in regional weather, farm economics and other cultural factors. The affects were the dust storms that damaged a lot.
Describe what people (especially from Oklahoma and Arkansas) did in response to the Dust Bowl. They hoped for jobs in orchards and farms in California, Oreagin and Washingotn. "Okies and Arkies"` packed up, headed West and became migrant workers .
