is for Advancements
There have been many progressions under shipbuilding since long ago. For instance, all the way pressing to the 19th-century vessels were made out of timber and had sails. Originating in the 1800's ships were made out of iron and steel. The sails were then reconstituted with engines. This is very important because ships were a big part of exploration.

is for Building

Building or construction has also had many progressions since current resources have been discovered. For instance, ships would still be composed of wood if steel was never discovered and used. Now we use our resources that we discovered due to exploration for building and construction.

is for Cartography
Speaking of exploration thank god for it. Cartography would not be possible without exploration. Cartography is the science of drawing and or designing maps. Cartography has made it accessible for us to travel in foreign places. Cartographers have the jobs of creating maps that show territorial borders and the geography. Cartographers even show the infrastructure such as buildings, roads, and railroads.

i is for Discovery
Everyone knows exploration leads to Discovery. Discovery is what enabled us to have so many advancements today. There are many well-known people who made fantastic discoveries a long time ago that allow our lives to run more smoothly. For example, Galileo, Newton, and Kepler are all famous for making phenomenal discoveries. Kepler himself is famously known for the laws of planetary motion that we often use today in astrology.

is for emerging technology
Emerging technology is technology that is advancing and coming into view. Some examples are artificial intelligence, 3D printing, robotics and plenty more. These new technological advances are improving many peoples lives in many ways. They can help us accomplish a task in more efficiently and keep us safer and healthier in a variety of ways. Sadly not all technologies make it past the trial stage, therefore, we can't use them. Now that we have so much more technology we can explore more efficiently.
is for Food preservation

Food preservation prevents the growth of microorganisms and the and slows the oxidation of fats that may cause rotting. Food preservation is important for travelers on long journeys because it will help them have fresh food for longer. Specifically, Food preservation prevents spoilage in food so if the exploration is lasting longer than expected food can be rationed and preserved.
Galileo is well known for the heliocentric theory. This is a theory about the earth an sun that no one believed except himself. Most people believed that the earth was the center of the universe and the and the sun and all the planets revolved around it. Galileo believed that the earth and all the other planets revolved around the sun. He eventually proved his theory. With the telescope that he created, he made observations of Venus. From his observation, he concluded that Venus went through phases like our moon. That is how his theory was proved. Thanks to the inventions of people like Galileo exploration began to get easier.

is for Heliocentrism

Heliocentrism is the model in which the earth and planets orbit around the sun in the heart of the solar system. Galileo and several others contributed to the heliocentric theory. This theory states that the earth and all the other planets revolve around the sun.
is for Ideas

Many new ideas about the form and extent of the earth have come to play. There are many arguments about earth composition. Even though space exploration and research have already validly proved that the earth is round there are still theory's of the earth being flat or in a disk shape.
is for Jesus

The church was also involved in advancements. The spread of religion was caused by the church. With the churches beliefs, a lot of people tried to prove them wrong with science.
is for Kepler

Kepler is best known for his role in scientific revolution and his laws of planetary motion. He came up with his theory then explored, observed and then studied until he could prove them. The scientific revolution was a series of events that sparked the emerging of today's science.
is for aLbert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a physicist who created the theory of relativity. His work is also known for its influence science.Einstein made made many inventions. He also made many really important scientific advancements.
is for Machines

Machines were created to make life easier for us humans. A machine is something using mechanical power that has several parts. Each of those parts has a specific function and together they perform a certain task. Machines were used for exploration today and back then. Today's machines are just more complex and efficient.
is for Newton

Issac Newton was well recognized or his discoveries. Issac Newton formulated the laws of motion and they greatly impacted the scientific revolution.Isaac Newton is said to be one of the most influential scientists of all time.
is for Oceon Currents

Ocean currents hugely impact travel and exploration. Ocean currents are the way the water flows in the ocean. When travelers are on ships the ocean currents and wind determine how quick the ship moves. The entire journey is based on the water currents and the wind.
is for Patterns

A weather pattern is when the weather stays the same for a period of time.Weather patterns are important for us to know today so we can know how to dress and what to plan. It was also the same with explorers except they had to know what the weather pattern was in order to know when to plan a journey and what supplies to take. They also used the weather patterns to determine how long a journey takes.
