“Whoosh.” Went the wind. “I can’t wait to start exploring the Tundra!” It was a lot colder than I thought even in summer,  I probably should’ve worn more layers. It’s only 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Oh well, let’s hit the road and start exploring! “Wow, I see some ice and a   POLAR BEAR!” “ grrrrr!” Goes my stomach. I’m a bit hungry so I’ll eat some food first.

It’s been 3 days and I’m already out of food! I probably should have packed more food. I don’t know what to do! I tried to just forget about it, and think of something else to do. SO I started looking for animals! “Wow, look that polar bear it is as large as a house! It must have just had babies because polar bears have babies in the summer.”

I haven’t eaten in 2 days and I’m starving. I’m so hungry I could eat the snow! As I bent down to try some snow, my hands were so cold I couldn’t even pick it up! ” Then I started to wonder if animals ever get cold, because it’s supposed to snow sometime this Saturday! Then i remembered they have extra layer of fur, I was so hungry that I was starting to forget things! My stomach was growling so loud and so much it sounded like an angry bear!

As I searched for anything to eat I found an igloo sort of thing. I slipped on the slippery permafrost layers on the tundra ground. I got closer and approached it, I heard talking and noises. Then wind started blowing hard, it was getting really cold. As the wind blew I got a whiff of the amazing smell of food, it smelled so good my mouth was  watering! I closed my eyes and thought of the delicious foods of all sorts .
