I would like to tell you about a book I have read.

The name of the book is "The Call of the Wild".

The author of the book is Jack London.

The main character in the book is Buck.

The book tells the story of Buck, a strong dog which lived in California with Mr. Miller. In 1897 some men found gold in cold Artic north of Canada and a lot of people followed them there. They also wanted strong dogs. One-day a man who worked for the Mr. Miller's family sold Buck to a Perrault and Francois. They took Buck to a boat and they sailed to Alaska.

The first day of Buck in the cold country was very bad and dangerous. He needed to pull of the sledge and life was very hard. The days were very long and difficult. Perrault and Francois and Buck and other dogs went past woods and across many icy rivers. It was tiring but Buck worked hard. Buck learned that the cold country was an unfriendly place and he wasn’t the same.

One day Buck was very tired and he saw Spitz which was a wild dog. Spitz hated Buck because he was the strongest dog in the place. Every day Spitz and Buck had small fights and the other dogs weren’t afraid of Spitz any more. One day Spitz attacked Buck and Buck killed him. In the morning all the dogs knew that Buck was the new boss and the leader of the sledge. Buck did Spitz's job better than Spitz and Francois was very happy because they moved more fast. 

Every day, for fourteen days, they ran 20 kilometers. At the end Francois and Perrault's changed plans. They had to sell the dogs. A Scottish man bought the sledge and the dogs to work for the Canadian Mail Company. The dogs worked very hard and they were very weak so the Scottish man sold them to two Americans. On their way to Dawson many dogs died because the two Americans didn't give them much food and rest.  Buck was very weak and almost died.

When the two Americans crossed the icy lake the ice broke and all the dogs and the two Americans fell into the cold water. However, Buck survived and a man named John Thornton found him. They took a long rest and Buck got stronger again. For the first time in Buck's life he loved someone. He really loved John. Buck was very happy with John but then John was killed by Indians. Buck was very angry and attacked them until they died. In the end Buck lived with wolves and he wasn't sad anymore.

I recommend this book to all the people who love dogs and thrill. I found this book very interesting and exciting.

I was very curious while reading the book. I wanted to know how the story would end. I learned many important facts from the book. The story is full of adventures.
