Kitsune & Otsune

Part 1

“DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!”, Mom yelled. I desperately asked, “Then what’s that strange light? Or should I say two strange lights?” The two lights were purple and they seemed dangerous. It seemed as if it came from the sun and moon. Without thinking and not having my mom notice I crept outside. I stared at two lights wondering what it might be. “COME IN AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!”, Mom yelled again. Well it didn’t seem as loud as before since I was further away from her this time. But it was still fairly loud. The next thing I knew she was dragging me into the house. Just then I ran back outside as fast as my feet can take me. I saw my mom chasing me from behind.

I ran until I found a cave. A cave that glowed with a crimson red aura. Before I knew it a huge creature with jagged wings and ferocious claws approached me. It was a Dragon. Yes. a real living dragon. I was very surprised that the dragon ate all my food. Without warning the large winged creature clawed me with it’s dangerously sharp nails. “Ouch!”, I screamed. “Well are you a intruder?”, The dragon roared. I couldn’t believe my ears! The dragon could talk?! “No?!”, I replied confused. I looked at the dragon like if it were something I had to look at. “Then who are you?”, the dragon thundered. I slowly introduced myself. “ Fine I'll let you in this cave As long as you don’t mess around with anything!”, the dragon hollered. I followed the dragon through the glowing red cave.

“And by the way my name is Fireclaw”, roared the dragon. As the Fireclaw led me through the cave, I could see the bright exit. As we walked closer to the exit I saw the two peculiar lights shining in the sky. “Do you know what these lights are?”, I asked“Yes.”, replied Fireclaw. “Legend says the strange lights have to do with two creatures called: Kitsune and Otsune. They seem to come from the sun and moon.”, he finished. The next thing I knew we finally made it out of the cave! I saw many different types of dragons flying here and there.

Fireclaw slowly pulled out a strange gadget. “it’s a teleporter. It can teleport items and living things”, explained the dragon. I took a look at the gadget. It looked like a walkie talkie except it looked much more valuable. “Why’d you pull it out?” I asked. “I want to use it to teleport to the sun and moon to stop Kitsune and Otsune from hitting our world with the strange lights they have created. The lights could either destroy the world or destroy the Kitsune and Otsune.”, answered the dragon. The lights seemed to get closer every minute. “Then what can we do about it?” I asked. “We must teleport to the sun and moon if you want to get rid of the lights.”, the dragon replied. As we walked I asked if the teleporter was safe. “Of course it’s safe!”, answered the dragon. Something seemed to be telling me that it was not a good idea to use the teleporter. I saw Fireclaw activate the teleporter.

“Are you sure this is a good idea ?”, I asked. “Of course it is!”, answered Fireclaw. The teleporter was ready and fully activated. “Step on this portal! We’re teleporting to the sun first! Don’t worry about the heat and be not able to breathe. The teleporter gives you abilities to survive your surroundings!”, Fireclaw babbled. The teleporter created a large round portal. Fireclaw leaped into the portal the teleporter created. So I followed.The next thing I knew I ended up on the sun. It felt like I was in a hilariously crazy dream. “The Kitsune’s on the other side of the sun", exclaimed Fireclaw. I saw Fireclaw swim through the ball of plasma. This really did look like a dream. I followed Fireclaw. Again, something seemed to tell me to stop. After a million years we reached the other side. Well maybe only a year or so...

Suddenly I saw something orange with nine tails and black eyes with an orange iris leap out of the plasma. It was a Kitsune. I pinched myself. It hurted so I knew it wasn't dreaming. I stared at the Kitsune. It’s not every day that you see a mythical creature on the sun. “What do you want?”, the Kitsune yelled. “We want to deactivate the two lights.”, Fireclaw replied. “Well why do you want to do it? Humans always like to cause trouble for me and the Otsune that came from the moon.”, exclaimed the Kitsune. The next thing I knew the Kitsune bit Firclaw”s leg, grabbed our teleporter and ran away. Fireclaw suggested me to ride on him. I hopped on Fireclaw’s back. We flew until the Kitsune used a gadget. A gadget that looked like a walkie talkie except it looked much more valuable. It was our teleporter. The one that got snatched from us. Fireclaw flew in to the portal just in time as the portal closed.
