Hi! I'm Tommy!
Today, I get to visit a zoo and learn about habitats! Want to come with me?

ZOO
I wonder what I will learn about the different animal habitats today! Do you know?

Animals, such as Armadillos, live in warm habitats, like grasslands, and dig burrows to sleep in. A burrow is underground and provides the animal shelter, as well as insects to eat.

Some animals, like the Camel, live in a dessert. The dessert is hot and dry with little to no water or food. The camel has adapted to its habitat by having think fur to protect itself from the sun, and large, soft feet that it uses to walk for long distances in the hot sand.

In the forest habitat, we can find majestic animals such as a tiger. Tigers live in areas that are high in foliage and prey. This makes it easy to hunt and hide from their prey. They use their stripes as camouflage in the dense forest trees.
