Today, we learned about elections

They decide who will be in charge of our country!

That's right!

There are two groups of people who want different things. They could actually be represented by the animals in our backyard!

That elephant represents republicans. They are more religious groups of people who want lower taxes and less interference from the president.

The donkey represents the democrats. They believe in sharing wealth. They want to try new things, even if they are not traditional

So it is important to vote for the person in office that is representing the animal you represent?

Correct! That is why I vote every year

When can i vote?

as soon as you turn 18, you can chose the elephant or the donkey, and vote for who you think would do the best job running our country!
