Developmental Milestones are Cognitive(Brain Skills) and Language(Communication) Development Mastery


See what we can do at 2 months:
- coo, make gurgling sounds
- turn head towards sounds
- pay attention to faces
- follow eyes and face recognition


See what we can do at 4 months:
- Begin to babble
- Cry to show hunger, pain, or being tired
- Respond to affection
- Reach for a toy


See what we can do at 6 months:
- String vowels together ("ah", "eh", "oh")
- Begin to say consonant sounds ("m", "b")
- Bring things to mouth
- Begin to pass things from one hand to the
other


See what we can do at 9 months:
- Understand "no"
- Copy sound and gestures
- Put things in mouth
- Play peek-a-boo


See what we can do at 1 year:
- Shake head "no" or wave "bye"
- Say "mama" and "dada"
- Follow simple direction"pick up toy"
- Poke with index finger


MILESTONES
We can do anything when we master cognitive(learning, thinking, problem-solving) and language(communicate) development


Today we are:
Playing with blocks
Hide small toys and find them
Sing songs and play dress-up
Label pictures in book
Play on paper with crayons
