MAUI WAS SAD BECAUSE HE LOVES SPENDING TIME IN NATURE. HE TRIED HIS HARDEST TO FIGURE OUT WHAT COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE THIS.

HE WENT TO THE BEACH TO THINK. UNFORTUNATELY, HE COULDNT COME UP WITH ANY GOOD REASON WHY THE ENVIORNMENT WAS STRUGGLING. HE WAS CONFUSED.

EVENTUALLY, MAUI GAVE UP ON TRYING TO THINK OF A GOOD REASON AND TOOK A TRIP TO THE VILLAGE TO ASK THE ELDERS.

WELL MAUI, THE REASON OUR JUNGLE IS STRUGGLING IS BECASUE WERE IGNORING SOMETHING CALLED SOIL CONSERVATION.

They told him.....

SOIL CONSERVATION? I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BEFORE.

After the elders told Maui how he can save the jungle, he felt determined and set off to help.

when maui reached the jungle , he got to work right away! he rememebred what the elders told him and put it into practice.
