This book is dedacted to my Toddler Class, who make my days so meaningful.

Its early in the morning and two year old Sarah is waking up. As she lays in her crib, her mom hears her saying "nose, head, ears and eyes"

Language/Communication Milestone: Knows names of familiar people and body parts.


Sarah has breakfast with her mom. Sarah eats pancakes that her mom cut up with a fork. Sarah really likes pancakes.


Cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving): Might use one hand more than the other.
After Breakfast, is off to school. Sarah teacher greets her. Sarah say "Good Moring Miss Tammie.



Language/Communication: Says sentences with 2 to 4 words.



During activity time Sarah plays with her friend David, she builds block tower four blocks high.
Cognitive: Builds towers of 4 or more blocks.









During reading time Sarah points out animals she sees in the books she is looking at. She says "dog, cat, bird."
Cognitive: Names items in a picture book such as a cat, bird, or dog.
