Dedicated to: Lamar Jackson and Rabbi Slater

Once upon a time there was a dragon named Lamar Moshe.

Lamar loved spending time with his friends. Every day, they would get together to play.
Hey guys!! everybody run!! 1,2,3, ready or not here I come!!

But little did they know, their friend, Lamar, would sneak into the nearby neighborhood, and plan his attack. . .

STOP HIM!!!!

RUFF!

MWAHAHA!

That was fun

The angel notices Lamar's actions, and decides that he needs to do something about it. "Lamar has a lot to learn," the angel thought.

Yo Lamar where have you been?
Oh you know, just went around to the village to see all the nice people that live there.

LAMARRR, this is an angel speaking. You know in the Mishnah it says that the world stands on Truth. The world's three foundations are truth, peace, and justice.
What? Who just said that?

All of a sudden Lamar remembers something he learned during Hebrew school long ago.

What was it that I learned from Morah Betsy about Hashem? OH YEAH! God is the definition of truth. Truth doesn't rely on ANYTHING to function, that's for God.

Lamar did you hear? The town in the forest was destroyed!

Who me? Nope I had no idea that that happened!! Excuse me guys, I have to go.

Lamar Moshe, I saw what you said to your friends. What did I tell you about lying??
I know, I know, you're right, but why should I trust you when I don't know who you are.
I am an angel. All I want is your best Lamar. I am just looking out for you.

One important lesson is that the word Emet, which means truth, stands on two legs, while the word Sheker, which means lie, stands on one leg. You should always be truthful Lamar, because your lies will never have two legs to stand on.

Lamar again remembered a lesson he learned with Morah Betsy from his old Hebrew school. He remembered how Rashi explained that God is truthful and how he pays back that was promised. He remembers her teaching that actions and words are seen as truth.

There's something I need to do. . .
